Sant Setu App does not collect or hold money.

Any payment goes directly to the person.

  1. What Sant Setu is

    Sant Setu is a community tool for finding Sadhu-Sant near you — starting in Chitrakoot, for all of India — coordinating seva visits and recording the help that has been given. It is offered for seva, not for profit.

    By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

  2. No money passes through Sant Setu

    Sant Setu App does not collect or hold money. We are not a payment service, a charity collecting funds, or a party to anything you give.

    If a Sevak shows a UPI ID, QR code or bank details, any payment is directly between you and that person. We do not verify those details, we cannot confirm a payment was received, and we cannot reverse or refund one. Check who you are paying before you pay.

  3. Using the app

    You can enter and browse without registering. Choosing a role at the start is only a preference on your device and does not create an account or grant any authority.

    The random identifier on your device is what controls your content. Anyone using your unlocked phone can edit it, so keep your device secure.

  4. Adding a Sadhu-Sant profile

    Only a Sadhu-Sant themselves, or a registered Sevak acting with their agreement, may add a profile. If you add one on someone's behalf you are confirming that you have their permission.

    Do not add a profile for anyone who has asked not to be listed. Tell us and we will remove it.

  5. Photos and what you write

    Only upload photos you took or have permission to share, and only photos of people who agreed to appear. Do not upload anything you would not want to be public.

    You keep ownership of what you add. By sharing it in Sant Setu you allow it to be displayed in the app to other users for the purpose of coordinating seva.

    We may remove content that is abusive, misleading, unlawful or shared without permission.

  6. Community information is not verified

    Profiles, needs, areas, visit records and events are entered by people in the community. We do not check them, and there is no approval or review queue by design.

    The map is illustrative. It places a pin on a general area, not on a person. Do not rely on it for navigation.

  7. Acceptable use

    Use Sant Setu respectfully and for seva. Do not use it to solicit money under a false identity, to harass anyone, to publish someone's private details, or to interfere with the service.

  8. Availability

    Sant Setu is young and offered as it is, without any guarantee that it will be available, correct or preserved. Features may change or be withdrawn, and data may be lost. Please keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.

  9. Liability

    To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of Sant Setu, from anything another user posts, or from any payment you choose to make to another person.

  10. Governing law and contact

    These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions go to hello@stackhog.com.
